US CBP launches forced labour enforcement statistics dashboard

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently organized the Forced Labour Technical Expo and launched an interactive dashboard focused on forced labor enforcement statistics under the Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act (UFLPA).
The two-day expo offered a global platform for the industry to share best practices on the latest technologies in supply chain transparency from around the world.
CBP launched the UFLPA statistics dashboard to provide a single source of data on UFLPA enforcement actions.
The dashboard, hosted on CBP.gov, is a highly interactive tool allowing users to select specific views for greater details of shipments stopped by CBP under UFLPA.
The dashboard answers a call for greater transparency on UFLPA enforcement while protecting sensitive trade information.
“We know that the vast majority of the industry is working earnestly to comply with the UFLPA and that many have been working over the past few years to eliminate forced labor from their supply chains, even before the UFLPA rebuttable presumption went into effect,” said CBP’s acting commissioner Troy Miller in a press release.
